5. Destination port handling and delivery charges. Once the cargo arrives to the port of destination overseas it needs to be unloaded from the vessel and delivered to the buyers. All ports will charge their fees for unloading and handling. These charges must be included in the overall cost of international freight transportation. Container unloading charges, inland or intermodal transportation cost, unpacking fees are the final link in the chain of global logistics.
