This means that the shipment will be measured from the tip of the trailer tongue, from the trailer fender on one side to another (or the hull width – whichever is wider), and from the ground to the top of the highest part of the boat. Since the cost of the shipping will be based on these total dimensions it can save customers a lot of money by removing parts of the boat to reduce the height or the length.

3. Trucks, buses, motorhomes, trailers. Just like with the boats the cargo will be measured from the longest point, to the widest point, to the highest point. This means that the bumpers will be included. Side mirrors will be included. If you have the AC unit on top on your motorhome – it will be included in the total measurements.
