In the age of modern technology you can complete the export-import transaction without ever leaving your house. Loading cargo inside the ocean container or onto the FLAT RACK container is usually completed by professional warehouses. We have such warehouses in all major US port cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Jacksonville, Charleston, Savannah, Norfolk, Baltimore, New York, Boston, Chicago.

           Cargo that doesn’t fit inside the container is usually shipped on Roll-on / Roll-off (Ro/Ro) vessels. These are built specifically to carry oversized cargo. Think of a Ro/Ro vessel as a big swimming parking garage that has multiple levels. It can accept self-propelled vehicles on wheels, towable units, and static cargo. All cargo actually sits INSIDE the vessel and it’s not exposed to weather or water. Carex Shipping has contracts with a number of Ro/Ro vessel operators offering service to Europe, Mediterranean, Africa, Middle East, Australia & New Zealand, Far East, Central & South America. Ro/Ro availability is somewhat limited so please, ask us if this service is available to your country.

           If your cargo is located at a distance from any major port, our company can arrange for the pick up with licensed and insured trucking companies. We also have agreements with the largest marine insurance companies to provide coverage at special rates.
